Contributions extend beyond clinical practice. He founded the Shastha Dialysis Center, the first private center to offer dialysis to the needy in the mid-income group, and introduced groundbreaking initiatives like the Mobile Dialysis Van inaugurated by Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam.
With a humble beginning of three machines, we grew rapidly to 14 machines, offering round-the-clock dialysis services. As the first standalone dialysis unit in South Tamil Nadu's private sector, we've been dedicated to providing affordable and high-quality care to our community.
Over the years, we've achieved significant milestones, including the inauguration by Dr. R. Kousalya Devi, Managing Trustee of Gandhi Gram Trust, in 2009. Since then, we've expanded to 16 dialysis machines and perform an average of 45 dialysis sessions daily.
We've been honored by esteemed organizations, including Lions Club International West and Shringeri Sharatha Matt-Madurai Branch, for our service to the underprivileged. Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam's endorsement of our mobile hemodialysis facility in 2010 further underscored our commitment to serving the needy.
